Job Description:
Job Description Summary The Graduate Student Research Assistant
supports the ULV Office of Institutional Research by assisting with
data analysis, reporting, and research tasks related to
institutional effectiveness. This role offers valuable professional
experience in higher education research while contributing to the
university’s mission through data-informed decision-making. The
ideal candidate is a graduate student with solid analytical skills,
attention to detail, strong initiative, and a desire to learn more
about institutional research and the role of data in higher
education. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in the
business, data analytics, computer science, or other related field.
Knowledge of SQL . Experience with querying relational databases
using SQL . Experience with Microsoft Excel. Strong project
management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently
and collaboratively in a small team environment. Work Schedule
Mondays through Fridays, 8am-5pm, maximum 20 hours per week.
