Management, Design EngineeringWork Schedule: Hybrid - Torrance,
CAMoog Military Aircraft has an immediate opening for a Project
Engineer to join our team. Reporting to our Test Systems Manager,
you will have a 9/80 schedule and a hybrid work option in Torrance,
CA.As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Oversee technical, cost and schedule performance for
development programs.
- Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade
studies and analyses.
- Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and
concise reports.
- Set the direction for the technical engineering team,
coordinate a team of designers, drafters, analysts, technicians,
and manufacturing engineers.
- Proposal volume development and costing support.
- Be the main technical contact for the customer.
- Occasional travel to support customer meetings and business
development needs.Working familiarity with the following is
desired:
- Familiarity with Fault Management design and architecture
development
- Strengths in controls system design
- Experience in Requirements Management, Verification and
Validation Methods, and/or Integration and Test
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and dSpace hardware for
system performance and real-time modeling
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience with project planning, scheduling and resource
loading; experience with MS Project.
- Experience with EVMS fundamentalsTo be considered for this
role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in design/development
engineering work or a Master's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years
of design/development engineering work experienceIt'd be great if
you also had:
- Master of Science Degree in Engineering
- Experience in the aerospace/defense manufacturing industry
strongly preferred
- Experience leading technical teams or projectsHow We Care for
