Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounts Specialist 2.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and obtain patient eligibility and authorization for
healthcare services
Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and contact payers for
payment resolution
Secure medical documentation and prepare claims for clinical audit
processing when necessary
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
At least 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts
receivable follow-up
Experience with billing errors, claim resubmission, and payment
follow-up
Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and third-party payer
billing procedures
At least two years of experience with accounts receivable
software
