Job Description Salary Range - 95k to 115k per year Job
description: Wee Thrive is Expanding and looking for a seasoned
Speech Language Pathologist Our ideal candidate would have a
minimum of 3 years of experience working in Pediatrics. We have a
pending case load that is becoming available due to a current staff
member who is moving out of the area. Responsibilities will include
but not limited to: - Perform screenings, evaluations, diagnosis
and treatment to children with communication disorders. - Conduct
assessments in collaboration with others that help to identify
children with communication disorders as well as to advise
instruction and intervention. - Provide intervention that is
appropriate to the age and learning needs of each individual child
and is selected through an evidence-based decision-making process.
- Engage children and families in goal planning, intervention
implementation, decision making, monitoring of progress appropriate
to age and ability level. - Provide training to parents of children
of all ages with regard to communication development and disorders.
- Supervise and mentor colleagues including SLPs, SLPAs, and other
paraprofessionals, as needed. - Gather and interpret data with
individual children, as well as overall program development and
enrichment. - Collaborate with families and other professionals to
benefit from shared knowledge and perspectives. - Work collegially
and contribute information to complement and augment other
professionals who also have unique perspectives and skills. -
Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission and
core values of Wee Thrive Pediatric Therapy Group are put into
practice. - Assist in the development of forms and tools to
increase efficiency in the Speech Therapy Department. - Answer
questions from clients, parents, staff, other paraprofessionals and
insurance companies. - Effectively communicate with staff and
families clearly, directly, and respectfully. - Provide vision
regarding the overall success and health of the company. - Advise
Owners/Directors on labor issues including safety, security,
employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, and the like;
ensuring directors and supervisors comply with company policies and
administering practices in fair and equitable manner. - Perform
other work-related duties as assigned. Job Types: Full-time, Hybrid
