Registered Nurse (RN) | Case Manager Location: Long Beach, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,979 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Case Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in inpatient case management. Preferred 3 years of experience, with case management experience in Southern California. License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience is required. Proficiency with EPIC documentation system. Weekends are required, scheduled per department needs. Candidates must have experience in acute care settings. Description: The role of the Case Manager RN involves coordinating various aspects of patient care. This position requires working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. The Case Manager will conduct needs assessments to determine care requirements. Discharge planning and ensuring the medical necessity of services are critical. Familiarity with Milliman Guidelines is essential for this role. The Case Manager will be responsible for concurrent review and continued stay reviews. Understanding of Appeals and Denials processes is necessary. Knowledge of CMS regulations and HEDIS measures is important. Candidates must adhere to HIPAA guidelines and The Joint Commission standards. Floating within the organization may be required based on census needs.
