Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Vice President of Underwriting
Hub for Commercial Small & Middle Market.
Key Responsibilities
Develops strategic and operational plans impacting multiple product
lines for long-term success
Oversees profitability, growth, and operational efficiencies for
product lines through underwriting strategies
Leads and manages staff, focusing on talent management and
succession planning
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in a related
discipline
20 years of related underwriting experience, with a minimum of 10
years in management
Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation
highly preferred
Extensive knowledge of the insurance industry and underwriting
practices
Familiarity with algorithms and operational excellence in
underwriting systems
