Job Description:
A company is looking for a Profee Specialized Coder - Emergency
Department.
Key Responsibilities
Timely and accurate coding of medical records, including assignment
of ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS
Maintain advanced coding and specialty knowledge in accordance with
coding guidelines
Achieve and maintain a quarterly quality score of 95% or
greater
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of a Coding Course
1 year of coder experience required; 3 years preferred
Core certification such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CRC
required
Specialty certification in areas like Emergency Department Coding,
Cardiology, or others required
