CLASSIFICATION: Hourly Non-Exempt, Part-time REPORTS TO: Board
Certified Behavior Analyst EFFECTIVE DATE: September 2025 SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention
services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and other
developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior,
social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and
communication development. The Behavior Technician is ultimately
responsible for direct delivery of the behavioral services to the
children and families, as well as accurate record keeping of case
notes and excellent communication with the Board-Certified Behavior
Analyst about the program and the progress of the behavior service
plans. The Behavior Technician maintains a weekly billable caseload
of service hours as directed by the Operations Manager. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct therapy in individual and group
sessions. Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's
program book. Assists Board Certified Behavior Analyst with
implementing individualized goals and checklists. Implements
individualized treatment plan as written and directed by the
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or Lead BCBA. Collect accurate
data and graphs data as instructed. Maintains dignity and
confidentiality for all clients. Maintains and protects the
wellbeing of all clients. Completes and returns session notes and
other paperwork on time and manages client PHI in accordance with
HIPAA. Communicates cross functionally with multiple teams,
including initial and follow up communication. Responds within 24
hours on week days and within 48 hours on weekends to all work
related communication. (Including email, text, g-chat) Possession
of a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet California’s
driving requirements. Dependable means of transportation. Duties,
responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or
without notice. Performs other related duties as assigned by

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work : This is a part-time
position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours
will fluctuate based on workload and client schedule. Occasional
weekend work will be required based on client needs. Travel: This
position requires up to 100% travel between client residences in
the Long Beach, South Bay, LA County, and Orange County areas.
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of one year’s experience working with
children. High School Diploma. (Required) An associate degree and
educational coursework completed in the areas of marriage and
family therapy, child development, special education, psychology,
or related field. (Preferred) RBT Certification. (Preferred)
Required after 120 days after start date. Work

Continually required to talk or hear. Occasionally exposed to
outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to bloodborne and
airborne pathogens or infectious materials. While performing the
duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is
usually moderate/loud. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral
visor; depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Occasional
physical intervention in response to aggressive or unsafe
